On my spiritual journey of understanding and knowing myself as well as the world I live in, one can say that I have been a bit obsessed at times with the search for truth. So many questions, so many answers, then none at all...Are we really supposed to know?
Only to find myself throwing just learned concepts and ideas out of the window for yet another aspect or a new unexplored avenue that completely contradicted the former. Ideas that I thought at the time where the answer to my questions and the missing puzzle piece to complete the picture.
This only served to be even more frustrating, because every time that I thought I had it all figured out, some experience or sudden event would force me to reconsider and re-analyze. Yes I do admit I have a tendency to over-think and over-analyze things, but this is the philosopher and lost scientist within me.
So I couldn't help but wonder; what is the truth? Is there one definite, unshakeable, unchangeable truth out there that applies to all and explains everyone's experience? Then today I had an epiphany.
What if everybody is right! What if everything is truth!? You know like in Quantum Theory where one object can be in two different places at the same time or two or more 'light-objects' can occupy the same space at the same time.
Varthiel (my Guardian Angel):
Truth by our definition is absolute, it is a 'fact' that is unchangeable. However, the truth is infinite just as this universe is and just as we are. Someone else's truth may not be your truth, but it is the truth all the same, because who are we to judge which truth will help us understand who we truly are? It is when you see everyone's truth as part of the ONE, and I mean isn't that what ONENESS is all about, that you will see the whole picture come together.
The "truth" is just a path to get us to what we are seeking. Not everyone is going to walk the same path, but in the end we are all seeking the same thing: GOD/LOVE. And remember all roads lead to Rome!
All I can say is just WOW. This makes so much sense to me. Why do we not all think this way? Because of the diversity within our own creations we are all showing our own truths. As for the lost scientist in me...ha...I hope one day I will be able to have that moment of "AHA" "Now I get it!". And because of your patience, love and sharing of your knowledge and humility, I am on the right path - that is my truth. thank you.
