Oh what a year it's been!
As we are nearing the end of this most challenging and deeply transformative year our energies are finally starting to center and settle down again. What a year it has been. When you thought it couldn't get any more challenging and physically draining the year 2015 just had a way of slapping you in the face over and over again. It was an unforgiving year at times for those of us who couldn't seem to let go of their muck and limiting views of themselves and the world around them.
Everything was shifting wether you wanted it to or not. What you couldn't release the universe took care of for you, sometimes in a drastic way. All throughout this process however the universe was always supporting you into becoming a better and more fulfilled version of yourself. Your prayers had been heard and answered. Little did you know what changes were necessary in order for you to receive what you were asking for. It was all a blessing in disguise; a lesson in self-empowerment and self-worth. Oh how much we have learned not just about ourselves this year but also about our family history and patterns. We learned that despite all of the trauma, drama and craziness we have access to unfathomable strength and resilience we never thought we had. In the eye of the storm we entered the serene and calming clarity that would push us through even the most challenging moments. Yes we cried, yes we cursed and fought but we never truly gave up. We now have access to a much deeper truth and knowing about ourselves that provides us with immense strength and grace. This allows us to move on our paths in more positive and empowering ways than ever before.
We finally understand that having made mistakes and bad choices does not mean we are failures. It is these mistakes and faults that make us stronger and bring us closer to our truth. They help us appreciate ourselves and the path we have been on that brought us to this point. This point of utter exhaustion but also the point of peace that comes from acceptance. There is no shame in failure. You can always choose again. No matter what you do and how much you try and avoid it. This is the truth that is true always about you. And that my fellow souls is very comforting, because there is no judgement only the judgement you have about yourself. So take some time this month to ponder this and what you have learned about yourself this year. Honor the progress you have made and recognize that no matter what your story was in the past; it does not have to be your story in the future!
