Shifting into a new season
Have you noticed that lately you are a bit more ‘spacey’ than usual? Have you been stubbing your toes or been tripping over your own feet a lot? Are you forgetful and cant seem to focus for too long? Do experience unrestful nights of sleep; waking up tired or waking up often during the night? If you have answered ‘yes’ to at least one of these questions you need a good grounding.
Grounding is becoming more and more important now than ever. Especially after the energy shift that the fall equinox (22nd Sep) brought with it. The equinox is actually considered by many naturopaths
as the optimum time for a cleansing/detoxification. In addition it can be a great seasonal cleanse for body, mind and spirit.
Many of us have been working diligently to heal ourselves and to shed many of the old patterns and doctrines that we have been enslaved to for so long. We have been ‘cleaning house’ so to speak. Through the fall equinox our energy systems literally have been shifting into a new ‘season’. Think of it as weights that are being dropped from a hot air balloon; the more you drop the higher the balloon will rise. So is your body vibrating at higher levels now and working hard to assimilate the new energy and patterns into the physicality of itself. That is why you may have been experiencing these temporary symptoms that can be alleviated through grounding exercises and activities. You need to do this often now to ground and anchor your new energy into your body.
If you are still holding on to certain issues or people of your past you may experience sluggishness, symptoms of depression, physical and emotional discomfort which will persist until you release that old energy and accept the new.
Either way sweet soul it is time to retreat, re-evaluate, re-group and rejuvenate (and ground ;-)) in order to allow this healing phase to be effective and to be prepared for the new cycle and phase that is coming soon.
