Another one bites the dust!
Here we are again at the end of a, well let's face it, pretty challenging year to say the least. All the hoopla, eating and craziness of Christmas is over. By now the last family members have left to go back home and you finally have a quiet moment to yourself again. You feel bloated, constipated and exhausted. The house is in need of a serious cleaning and you probably are as well (energetically I mean). What a way to go out with a bang. You gotta love the month of December. Why do we have to cram so much stress, events and parties into a time of year when we all should be hibernating in bed with a good book and a hot tea!
Oh well, it isn't all bad. I love this season although it probably is the most challenging one of the year for me as well. As you can tell by now this month I do not have a wise message or deeply transformative information for you. Sometimes we just need to take a break, even from the spiritual stuff! Life is all about balance and although we may have stuffed our faces with the worst kind of foods and received and overload of sugar in the past couple of weeks, it is ok. We have all next year to get back into shape, start our health routine and chant our mantras.
But for now just rest. Read the book you have been meaning to finish for a while. Paint that painting thats been on your mind and go for a walk like you have been meaning to. Re-charge, re-define and find your center again. You gonna need it because next year has some pretty challenging energies in store for us as well. But you know what, if we have made it so far, that stuff ain't gonna knock us down!
